Acres of Fun
I have been walking dogs for many years, as Hiking Hounds Dog Walking Service, and I also have customers dogs staying at Fieldhead Pet Stays, that their owners dare not let off the lead, and not all are good on recall for us either. So it seemed like an excellent idea to dedicate a field to a secure play area for boarding dogs and the ones we walk.
However, we had so many inquiries about the field being open to the public, we have decided to do so ... we talked to Kirklees Council Planning and Licensing Officer, and they thought it would be a great idea, but did make some suggestions with regards to the number of dogs and parking etc. So our terms and conditions, and procedures have to be quite rigid, but works well if we work together to enjoy the field.

The time slots are for 30 mins for 1 to 3 dogs, the cost is £6 per session, and for 4 to 6 dogs it is £10 per session. 6 dogs is the maximum per session.  If you require an hour slot, then please double the cost, and make sure you book 2 time slots, by calling 07813 956540 / 01274 685752, ask for Helen.  On arrival the car park gate and the pedestrian gate should be open, and both closed whilst you use the field ... if the pedestrian gate is locked, the code is 1903 ... please leave both gates open when you leave.

To book the field, the easiest way is to visit our Fieldhead Pet Stays Facebook page and use the 'Book Now' button which shows all the available times available, as does the above button 'Click to Book' or if you are struggling text Helen 07813 956540 and when she has access to the app. she will call you back with availability, although if you can manage to use the computerised methods then payment can also be made directly through them also.

There is a shelter to hide from the wind, rain and occasional sunshine too. The fencing is 6 foot high and secure, however we do have the odd visiting rabbit, the fence is regularly checked but if you think a dog could squeeze under please let me know ... also if you think your dog may be able to jump anywhere near 5 foot, let alone 6 foot, please don't bring them to the field as we are surrounded by farm animals and open fields, and although the dogs should be busy playing, it really isn't worth the risk.

Please read the following terms  ...
